Editorial Independence
Our recommendations are never influenced by advertisers, affiliate partners, or manufacturers. No brand can pay to be featured, ranked higher, or excluded from a negative comparison. If a product underperforms in our research, we say so — even if it means recommending a competitor's cheaper card, cooler, or case instead.
Writers and editors at RigValut have no financial stake in which specific products a reader buys beyond the standard affiliate commission disclosed below, which is identical regardless of which product in a comparison a reader chooses.

How We Test and Research
Every buying guide and review draws on current benchmark data from established, independent testing outlets — sources like Tom's Hardware, GamersNexus, Notebookcheck, and manufacturer specification sheets — cross-checked against current street pricing at the time of publication.
Where we haven't personally benchmarked a specific unit, we say so plainly and cite the outlets our figures come from. We do not present secondhand data as if it were our own hands-on testing.

Updates and Corrections
Hardware pricing and availability change constantly. We revisit buying guides and reviews regularly to update pricing, replace discontinued products, and reflect new releases — each guide notes the year it was last substantively updated.
